For years, I found myself writing music that drew from black metal, death metal, deathcore and grindcore, but never sat comfortably within any one of those genres.

Each offered something essential.

Black metal brought atmosphere, darkness and emotional weight.

Death metal contributed intensity and technical brutality.

Deathcore added crushing rhythmic impact.

Grindcore introduced chaos, urgency and uncompromising aggression.

Yet none of these labels fully described what I was trying to create.

So instead of forcing the music into an existing category, I decided to give the vision its own name.

Blackdeathgrin Metal is not about replacing those genres.

It is about acknowledging the influences while defining a creative identity that belongs to UNIDARK.
